RAC – Climbing Up The Walls

January 21, 2013

RAC - Climbing Up The Walls

Climbing Up The Walls has been originally released by Radiohead in 1997 on the album OK Computer (listen original on Youtube). Apart from its very powerful, lively and rousing melody, this remix made by RAC (aka André Allen Anjos) is for me the perfect example of a successful remix as it also sticks to the original version. You might also noticed the stunning voice of Liz Anjos, RAC’s sister. Download this track for free on Soundcloud.

Tagträumer² – Beyond LFO (Gaetano & Carsten Schorr Remix)

Tagträumer² - Beyond LFO

If you don’t have a precise idea about tech house music, this is for me the perfect example of what it should looks like. In this single (Beyond LFO) the three other tracks (including the original one) are also very good so don’t hesitate to have a look at it.Also keep in mind that Tagträumer² is going to release a new album (The Only Thing In This World) in 2013.

Sam Farsio – Jelani E.P (Namito’s Green Movement Remix)

January 13, 2013

Sam Farsio - Jelani EP

Apart from the fact that I consider this sound to be on my top 10 tracks to party, I only have few information about Sam Farsio. Apparently, Sam Farsio and the well-known German dj Namito know each others pretty well as they cooperated together on several tracks. He also released his last albums and EPs on Get Physical Music and Session Deluxe which are two very prolific and consistent German labels.

Dusty Kid – Nora Nights

Dusty Kid - Behond That Hill

It is never too late to discover a new track. Released in 2011 by Dusty Kid (aka Paolo Alberto Lodde) on its album Beyond That Hill, this is such a pure, deep and dynamic track. This is also the kind of sound you can listen either at home in your bed or at 5 am in a club. Wherever you are, just enjoy by closing your eyes. If you liked that one, I strongly recommend you to buy the rest of the album (just go here).

Antonin Guerre (my brother) started creating song since his 18 or 17 years old. After studying for 2 years Sound Engineering, he is now able to produce sounds using a large variety of techniques and samples. Roulé Boulé is just a example of what he is able to do. Hope you like as I did this deep and soft electronic track.

Public Service Broadcasting – Roygbiv

Public Service Broadcasting - The War Room

Public Service Broadcasting is a London-based duo using samples from archives (public speeches, commercials, film materials …) in order to create singular and original electronic music. Their last album, The War Room has been realized using samples from the World War II. To be honest, it has been hard for me to select only one track: the entire album is amazing.

Gelka – Have You Kept Your Ticket?

January 8, 2013

Café del Mar Vol.18

This track is by far the best one of this album. Even though I was a little bit disappointed by its content, Café Del Mar Vol. 18 also offers two or three great tracks such as “Trouble In Paradise” by Unkle or “The Bliss” by Talvin Singh & Niladri Kumar.

If you like deep and soft music, don’t hesitate to buy this album.

Flatlab – 101

October 2, 2012

101 - FlatlabFlatlab (Richard Carteau) has two main sources of inspiration: Paris (where he grew up) and London where he currently lives. Even though he is pretty young, Richard also created his label: Flatlab Production which is more dedicated to films and TV compositions. For the story, he got inspired and composed that track after a long road trip on the Pacific Highway. I also really liked his other track Early Day !!

Acid Pauli – IBang (Feat. Nancy)

July 31, 2012

Acid Pauli - IBang (feat. Nancy)Martin Gretschmann is an incredible artist that started his career in 1996 with the German band Console , he is now releasing under the pseudonym Acid Pauli. In a deeper and darker style, Gefällt Mir also gave me a pretty good idea of his talent. Both tracks are powerful and give a lot of emotion while listening.

Anton Zap – Captain Rush

July 2, 2012

Jus Ed & Anton Zap - Captain RushFrom the album Real House Music… made by Anton Zap in collaboration with Jus Ed, the track Captain Rush is a pure example of what could be intense and dynamic deep house music. However, after listening to the rest of his discography, I can already tell you this track is the best one ! You may also like Deeper or Water that are deeper.
