I was recently speaking about Berlin Nights compilation, here is an other opportunity to discover a new one: Hamburg Elektronisch. An other prove that these two are among the Europe’s best cities for electronic music lovers. On his side, Serbia born Solomun (based in Hamburg since) is a fully recognised artist for his production, remixes and dj live performances, for sure one of the major producer you should follow carefully.
If you don’t know Rainer Weichhold yet, it’s never too late to discover about his massive discography. Here is just an example of what he’s actually able to produce… You can also see this track on Berlin Nights mixed by Namito and Phonique ! Definitely the kind of compilation you must have on your itunes. Don’t forget your headphones !
Nicolas Jaar started to produce at his 17 (The Student EP). Four years later, he is able to produce sounds that create intense emotion either at home or in a club. He also says of his last album, Space Is Only Noise, that this isn’t deep house or minimal but “blue-wave”, something between deep, melancholic and rhythmic.
It’s always a good surprise to listen PUZIQUe (Boys Noize & D.I.M.) again while using Itunes in shuffle mode. I’m sure you already know about this old track, but if this is not the case, please spend some time discovering their two EPs: Thomas (2006) and Don’t Go (2007).
I recently fell in love with Emil Berliner‘s music. I hardly recommend you to spend the time listening all his tracks, it’s not a waste of time. You can also buy his albums via Itunes. Don’t miss Halting Breath from Berliner Wechselseitige album !!
Please, do not miss 4:30 min and after ! if you liked it, listen the rest of his tracks, it really worth it: David August
The perfect song to make you believe summer is still here … Vincenzo (personal advice: jump to 1:20 min where the track really starts)
What a Massive Track ! Please do me a favour, put headphones or a great sound system, trust me its so much better! I’ll also come back later on both Ellen Allien and Apparat so don’t worry.
